Tippy has always been an actor & practitioner, passionate about telling stories. Becoming a mother was what inspired her to jump into film making. It gives her the control to tell the stories that she wants to tell & to give a powerful voice to female characters.
Tippy is writer, producer & performer of the experimental film TERMINUS, which was screened at BIFTA & BAFTA affiliated festivals. It was created as a response to the heat waves, wildfires & pollution that damage the local Essex woodland & coastline. This environmental emergency that we are all facing, inspired her to tell the story through the four elements Earth, Air, Fire, Water.
Tippy is a Mum of two boys, who have been part of the TERMINUS journey from the very start. It was important to her that they took on roles in the filmmaking process & will hopefully be inspired to go on to tell stories that are important to them in the future.
Film Making
Tippy leads workshops with young people on film making covering job roles in the industry, creating a character, writing a film script and shooting a film. Her most recent project was with Inspiring Futures based in Barking and Dagenham.
