Tippy is proud to have a long standing partnership with The Mercury Theatre, being part of the Creative Education Department, Mercury Creatives & Directors Development Programme. She is mentored by Alexandra Spencer-Jones & was invited to be part of rehearsals for SIX The Musical UK Tour.
Tippy is an acting teacher on the University Arts London foundation degree programme at Harlow University Centre. She uses her experiences & industry connections to give students a well rounded perspective. It's a tough industry to break into & understanding the inner workings can give these young performers an edge.
Terminus is a six minute experimental film which was created by Tippy Elgar & Jamie Weston. It explores the four elements earth, air, fire & water who are effected by the polluted world around them. It was filmed in Epping Forest & was screened at BAFT & BIFA qualifying festivals, winning at the London Independent Film Awards.
Jamie Weston is a film director based in Essex who has collaborated with Tippy on several film projects. Most notably Terminus & Wings, starring Miriam Margolyes. Both films were screened at BAFTA & BIFA qualifying festivals.
Open Page Productions champions bold new writing for theatre. Tippy was creative director between 2023 & 2025. Her credits include Variations monologue showcase (2024) Exe's & Oh's (2025) at The Hen & Chickens, Drayton Arms & Baron's Court Theatres.
Tippy has worked on many LGBTQ+ projects produced by Jade Winters at Wicked Winters Productions. Most recently she directed The A Word at The King's Head Theatre (2023). This is a play about raising awareness of the red flags in an abusive lesbian relationship, something that is not often reported on.
