HEAD FULL OF BEES
'Sesame Street meets The Exorcist!'
Tippy is excited to be directing a one woman comedy show with songs, puppets and multimedia. We are returning to the Brighton Fringe & Edinburgh Fringe Festivals in 2027. Collaborating with writer & performer Lela Bergeron to explore the chaotic & creative nature of the neurodivergent brain & late diagnosis in women.
ACTING LECTURER
Tippy is a lecturer on the UAL acting degree programme at Harlow University Centre. She uses her industry connections to give students a well rounded perspective. It's a tough industry to break into & understanding the inner workings gives these young performers an edge.
TERMINUS
Terminus is a short experimental film which was created by Tippy Elgar. The film explores the four elements earth, air, fire & water who are effected by the polluted world around them. It was filmed in Epping Forest & was screened at BAFT & BIFA qualifying festivals, winning at the London Independent Film Awards.
THE MERCURY THEATRE
Tippy is proud to have a long standing partnership with The Mercury Theatre, being part of the Creative Education Department, Mercury Creatives & Directors Development Programme. She is mentored by Alexandra Spencer-Jones & was invited to be part of rehearsals for SIX The Musical UK Tour 2026.
past projects
Wicked Winters Productions
Over the past decade, Tippy has worked on LGBTQ+ film and theatre projects produced by Jade Winters at Wicked Winters Productions. Most recently she directed 'The A Word' at The King's Head Theatre. This is a play about raising awareness of the red flags in an abusive lesbian relationship, something that is not often reported on.

Open Page Productions champions bold new writing for theatre. Tippy was creative director between 2023 & 2025. Her credits include 'Variations' a monologue showcase, 'Exe's & Oh's' a new writing showcase at The Hen & Chickens, Drayton Arms & Baron's Court Theatre.
